Restaurant Terms & Conditions – The View Sweden
Applies to table reservations, catering (pickup/delivery), venue rentals, and pre-ordered items from our restaurant and café services.
To ensure a smooth, safe, and enjoyable experience for all our guests, the following terms apply when booking, ordering, or renting through our restaurant and café. By booking, paying for, or using our services, you agree to these terms in full.
1. Table Reservations
Table reservations are recommended during events, peak seasons, and for larger groups.
The reservation is only valid after confirmation from our staff via phone, SMS, or WhatsApp. For email reservations, please follow up with a call, as messages may be missed or end up in spam.
If you arrive more than 15 minutes late without contacting us, we reserve the right to give the table to another guest.
Changes to the reservation (e.g., number of guests) must be communicated at least 24 hours in advance.
Specific time slots apply for special events. Late arrivals may miss part of the evening without compensation or refund.
Prepaid event bookings are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.
2. Catering, Takeaway & Food Orders (Pickup or Delivery)
Orders must be confirmed by us and paid in advance as agreed.
The order becomes binding once payment is received and we’ve confirmed it.
Cancellation policy:
Full refund: at least 5 days before delivery
50% refund: 2–5 days before delivery
No refund: within 48 hours of delivery
No-shows or late cancellations will be charged in full.
Orders should preferably be made by phone. Messages via email, SMS, or social media may be missed, especially during peak hours.
3. Venue Rental
Our venue can be rented for private gatherings, corporate events, or association meetings.
The booking is only valid after written confirmation (via email) and payment is received.
Cancellation policy:
At least 14 days prior: full refund
7–13 days prior: 50% refund
Less than 7 days: no refund
A cleaning fee may apply if the venue is left in poor condition or with leftover decorations.
The renter is responsible for ensuring the space is left clean and undamaged.
4. Pre-Ordered Items from the Bakery or Store
Orders for baked goods, gift boxes, drinks, or other items must be placed at least 2 days in advance.
Payment is due upon ordering or as agreed at pickup.
Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Late cancellations or no-shows will be charged in full.
5. Dietary Requirements, Availability & Seasonality
Please notify us of allergies, dietary restrictions, or special requests when booking.
Menu items and prices may vary depending on the season and availability.
Certain menus or products may be limited to specific events or times of year.
6. Force Majeure
The View Sweden reserves the right to cancel, modify, or limit services in the event of force majeure, such as government decisions, illness, power outages, technical failures, extreme weather, or other circumstances beyond our control. In such cases, we will issue a refund when possible, but no further compensation will be provided.
7. Guest Responsibility & Liability
Guests are expected to behave respectfully and with care.
Damage to property, equipment, inventory, or the environment due to negligence or violations of our rules may result in liability for compensation.
The View Sweden is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings on the premises.
We reserve the right to deny service or ask guests to leave without refund in the event of repeated disturbances or inappropriate behavior.
8. Payment & Late Fees
Payment is due as agreed upon when booking or placing an order.
In the case of late or missing payment, we reserve the right to charge interest according to the Swedish Interest Act, as well as a reminder fee.
Bookings or orders may be canceled if payment is not received.
9. Acceptance of Terms
By booking, paying for, or using our services, you agree to all terms outlined in this document—even if no written signature has been provided. This is in accordance with the principle of implied agreement, meaning the contract is considered binding based on your actions (e.g., payment or attendance).
The latest version of the terms is always available in the restaurant and on our website. It is the guest’s responsibility to review the current version at the time of booking.
10. Revisions to Terms
The View Sweden reserves the right to update or change these terms at any time. The latest version will always be available on our website and on-site. Continued use of our services implies acceptance of the updated terms.
11. Personal Data & GDPR
We process personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Your information is used solely for managing bookings, orders, and communications.
For table bookings, we collect:
Contact person’s name
Phone number
Booking date and number of guests
Any dietary restrictions or relevant notes
You have the right to:
Request access to your stored data
Request correction, deletion, or restriction
Object to the processing of your data
